Montecito Miramar Beach House on the Sand

We stayed here for five nights with our large family, and overall the home itself had a lot to offer. The location is absolutely beautiful—right on the beach—and the house had plenty of space for everyone to spread out comfortably. The host was also very responsive and easy to communicate with, which we appreciated.There were a few minor issues inside the home. The upstairs bathroom is quite small, and some of the cups and glasses in the upstairs kitchen were dusty and needed to be washed before use. The staircase leading to the lower level is also very tight, which could be difficult for some guests.Unfortunately, the biggest issue during our stay was not with the home itself but with the neighboring property. Starting on our third day, the renters next door were extremely loud and disruptive—playing loud music, smoking marijuana, and even setting up beer pong tables right in front of the home we were staying in. We tried to tolerate it, but by the fourth day it was no longer a relaxing or family-friendly environment, and we decided to leave early.Because of leaving early, we also had to throw away a significant amount of groceries we had purchased for the remainder of our stay, which added to the frustration and overall cost of the trip.For the price we paid, we expected a more peaceful experience, especially in such a beautiful setting. While the home itself was nice, the overall experience was impacted by factors outside the host’s control.

We loved our visit to the House on the Sand. The location is perfect and parking is easy. We can't wait to come back to visit!
